AltaRTVal is a tool for MIL-STD-1553B Remote Terminal protocol testing based on the RT Validation Test Plan. Refer to MIL-HDBK-1553A or SAE AS4111 for more information on this test plan. AltaRTVal also provides tests for the SAE AS4112 RT Production Test Plan.
AltaRTVal only performs the protocol tests (5.2), it does not perform electrical (5.1) or noise (5.3) tests. The test reports generated by AltaRTVal are not sufficient to fully demonstrate that your RT passes the RT Validation Test Plan (AS4111). We recommend Test Systems Inc. (https://www.testsystems.com/) for full RT Validation testing.
