In some cases, the Alta PCIe4L-1553 device simply cannot be found in the system.
We resolved this issue by making an adjustment in the BIOS to enable Early PCIe Delay.
This has been shown to be the case for at least one system – the HP z240 server.
Ensure that the BIOS is updated as well.
