My 1553 device will not complete power-on self-test (POST). The BIT LED flashed continuously and the Ch1 LED is solid RED.
There is a AutoTest feature (that is being phased out) on some Alta 1553 cards that can cause this, preventing you from using your card properly and even interferring with an active 1553 BC.
